My name is Suna Potgieter. I am a wife, mother, daughter and Beloved of God. Lover of words, pictures, people and the colour blue. Obsessive reader, wannabe writer, amateur photographer and Spirit-lead counsellor. Blessed, thankful and anticipating great things to come.
I am privileged to be living in one of the most beautiful areas of South Africa, the Southern Cape, also known as the Garden Route. We moved here a few years ago and are still thankful on a daily basis for the beauty of the area AND the people sharing this paradise with us.
I started blogging (mainly in my mothertongue, Afrikaans) as a way of keeping friends and family updated, and soon found it to be very therapeutic. And, once in a while, I could even encourage others with my experiences.
My blog, Rhythms of Grace, consists of my experiences and thoughts after moving from my hometown, across the country, to a new area.
The other page, Storiestapels, is stories about my relationship and encounters with God. I realised that these stories are the “altars” along my journey, that reminds me of the things He has done for me, the lessons I have learnt and the times He showed me His love and care. Therefor I want to start writing them down, in order to remember them, and to be able to encourage others.
